Welcome to Celtic Knotwork Designs! We understand how important it is for you to receive your Celtic-inspired products in a timely and efficient manner. That's why we have a clear and straightforward shipping policy in place to ensure a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience for you.

At Celtic Knotwork Designs, we strive to ensure that your order is processed and delivered to you in a timely manner. We work with trusted shipping partners to guarantee the safe and secure delivery of your Celtic treasures.

Our shipping policy is designed to provide you with transparency and peace of mind. Here are some key points to keep in mind:

Correct Shipping Address Format

All address information must be submitted in English regardless of the destination country. Be sure to fill all shipping information fields correctly especially postal codes. The more detail the address submitted has the more likely it is to be delivered to the proper address without any issues.

Celtic Knotwork Designs is not responsible for covering the costs or replacement of any order originally submitted with incorrect address information.

Order Processing Time

Many of the products and services offered here on Celtic Knotwork Designs are produced when you place your order. This enables us to offer you higher quality products at lower prices than can be offered otherwise.

This dedication to quality requires 4 to 6 business days for your order to be printed, cut to size (as necessary) and assembled (as necessary). On average 98% of orders are produced and shipped within 4 to 6 business days, 1% of orders are produced in 6 to 9 days and 1% take 9 days to produce.

If the production of your order will be delayed more then 9 business days we will email to inform you, giving you a revised estimate of production time.

Shipping Confirmation

If you ordered multiple Celtic Knotwork Designs products or services you may receive multiple emails that your order has shipped. This is because we will ship each item to you when it is ready and not make you wait for the entire order to be completed to ship it to you.

This is also to ensure high quality of the items you ordered. By allowing our staff to focus on and perfect the production of a specific product or service. Instead of having them rush from one product or service to another and possibly make a mistake trying to get the entire order completed at one time.

Most confirmation emails will also contain a tracking link. Most tracking links will update in real time but there may be some lag time in the updating depending on the final destination.

Some international orders do not offer tracking.

Shipping Method Offered

At the current time we are only shipping via Standard Shipping method. Later we will expand the options (if conditions improve).

The reason for the limited shipping options is there is still some logistical issues since the Covid-19 pandemic. Most shipping carriers delivery times are still not in a timely fashion.

We are not going to pay them or charge you for services that the shipping carrier cannot deliver.

Shipping Rate

We have a flat shipping rate of $10 for any order under $75.

And, FREE shipping on orders over $75.

Shipping Destinations

We are currently limiting the shipping destinations to within the United States. Part of the reason for this is again the logistical problems mentioned above.

The other reason for limiting the shipping destinations is the new issue of taxing Internet sales. You used to be able to purchase items over the Internet without having to pay sales tax (or gross receipt tax, or value added tax, and its many other names) unless you lived within the geographical region of the seller, but not any more.

Many states have what they call a safe harbor for small businesses clause to protect small businesses like this one from the new tax laws. We will be charging sales tax on sales to some states sooner then others.

Live Outside of the United States?

We will be expanding our sales and shipping areas outside of the United States soon. It will be a gradual expansion, selecting and expanding to one country at a time.

We will base this expansion on three key factors:

  1. Countries that subscribers to the Celtic News Newsletter reside in.
  2. Countries people are visiting this site from.
  3. The Internet taxation laws in affect and / or pending in those countries.

The item above that holds the most weight in our decision to expand to other countries is where members of our newsletter reside.

If we have 1000 visitors from the UK but 1 Celtic News Newsletter subscriber in Canada, we'll expand to Canada before expanding to the UK.

Shipping Transit Time

On average 96.73% of orders have 4 to 6 days in transit to you home, 1.7% of orders have 7 to 9 days in transit and only 1.57% of orders have more then 9 days in transit.

At this time the only exception to the above delivery times is jewelry. We are currently working on improving the transit time of these products.

If for any reason the transit time may take longer then 9 days we will contact you by email with the revised delivery date.
