Shipping Policy
Correct Shipping Address Format
All address information must be submitted in English regardless of the destination country. Be sure to fill all shipping information fields correctly especially postal codes. The more detail the address submitted has the more likely it is to be delivered to the proper address without any issues.
Celtic Knotwork Designs is not responsible for covering the costs or replacement of any order originally submitted with incorrect address information.
Order Processing Time
Many of the products offered here on Celtic Knotwork Designs are produced when you place your order. This enables us to offer you higher quality products at lower prices than can be offered otherwise.
This dedication to quality requires 4 to 6 business days for your order to be printed, cut to size (as necessary) and assembled (as necessary). With most products being produced for you within 4 to 6 business days, see below for more information.
Due to disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic if the production of your order will be delayed more then 9 business days we will email to inform you, giving you a revised estimate of production time.

Shipping Confirmation
If you ordered multiple Celtic Knotwork Designs products you may receive multiple emails that your order has shipped. This is because we will ship each item to you when it is ready and not make you wait for the entire order to be completed to ship it to you.
This is also to ensure high quality of the items you ordered. By allowing the staff to focus on and perfect the production of a specific product. Instead of having them rush from one product to another product and possibly make a mistake trying to get the entire order completed at one time.
Most confirmation emails will also contain a tracking link. Most tracking links will update in real time but there may be some lag time in the updating depending on the final destination. Some international orders do not offer tracking.
Shipping Method Offered
At the current time we are only shipping via Standard Shipping method. Later we will expand the options (if conditions improve).
The reason for the limited shipping options is the logistical nightmare of shipping packages during the current Covid-19 pandemic. Most shipping carriers can no longer deliver anything but standard in a timely fashion.
The most recent tests of shipping via overnight and priority methods have taking up to 3 weeks to be delivered within the United States and up to 3 months for items shipped from outside the U.S.
We are not going to pay them or charge you for services that the shipping carrier cannot deliver.
Shipping Rate
Because of only using standard shipping method we are also implementing a flat rate of $10 shipping for any order under $75 and free shipping on ordered over $75.
Shipping Destinations
We are currently limiting the shipping destinations to within the United States. Part of the reason for this is again the logistical problems mentioned above.
The other reason for limiting the shipping destinations is the new issue of taxing Internet sales. You used to be able to purchase items over the Internet without having to pay sales tax (by its many names) unless you lived within the geographical region of the seller, not any more.
Many states have what they call a safe harbor for small businesses clause to protect small businesses like this one from the new tax laws. We will be charging sales tax on sales to some states sooner then others.

Live Outside of the United States?
We will be expanding our sales and shipping areas outside of the United States soon. It will be a gradual expansion, selecting and expanding to one country at a time.
We will base this expansion on three key factors.
- Countries people are visiting this site from.
- The Internet taxation laws in affect and / or pending in those countries.
- Countries that subscribers to the Celtic News Newsletter reside in.
The item above that holds the most weight in our decision to expand to other countries is where members of our newsletter reside.
If we have 1000 visitors from the UK but 1 Celtic News Newsletter subscriber in Canada, we'll expand to Canada before expanding to the UK.

Below is how long the various products we carry have been in transit between our facility and our customer's home. All times are given in business days and the figures cited are the percentage of orders delivered within the time frame.

The exception to the above delivery times is jewelry and other items shipped from outside the United States. These items can take between 30 to 45 business days to arrive at your home. If for any reason it may take longer then this we will contact you by email with the revised delivery time.
